"Triangulation" is the method by which something is divided into a shape or concept with three sides or vectors. It is used in several different ways in different fields. Whether or not Christians will have to endure triangulation depends on the application.
Geometry: "the process of determining the location of a point by forming triangles to it from known points." Christians who have cell phones do endure such triangulation. Cellphone towers use triangulation to determine a phone's location. It is necessary for finding directions in a map app and for efficiently transmitting the COVID virus through 5G towers.
Psychology: "a manipulation tactic where one person will not communicate directly with another person, instead using a third person to relay communication to the second, thus forming a triangle." The Bible has several examples of this, including the Centurion who asked Jesus to heal his servant. In Matthew 8:5-13, it appears the centurion asked Jesus directly, but Luke 7:1-10 shows the centurion asked Jewish elders to relay the information to Jesus, which was the cultural norm. Today, this form of communication is common in junior high when you send a friend over to the guy you like to see how he feels about you.
Cartoons: the shape of Phineas Flynn's head. Honestly,
Phineas and Ferb is awesome; not at all hard to endure.
Politics: "the action or process of positioning oneself in such a way as to appeal to or appease both left-wing and right-wing standpoints." Christians today will absolutely not have to endure this type of triangulation. There are no more politicians, movements, or causes that are designed to appeal to both liberals and conservatives. Politics has become a land of extremists, not moderation.
Christians will and do endure specific types of triangulation, but not all triangulation is bad. Some, like using cellphone towers to find directions or using a mediator to promote a cause, can be useful. Others, like extreme, unreasonable, irrational politics, is enough to make a Christian wonder if the Rapture's coming or if she's already
living in the Tribulation.
