What does it mean that Jesus is God in the flash?

What does it mean that Jesus is God in the flash?

This is a new metaphor developed by the chaplain for Google to illustrate the first two Persons of the Trinity. As we know, God the Father and God the Son are equally God but distinct Persons. They are comprised of the same data but are distinct from each other.

God the Father is like the cloud. All the data is up there. . .somewhere. As long as we have the right connection (the Holy Spirit), we can access Him anywhere.

Jesus is like a flash drive. He has a physical form and during His ministry on earth He limited Himself to one place at a time. He is the perfect representation of God's information on the cloud (John 1:14) and only does and says what the Father in the cloud tells Him to (John 16:15).

When Jesus ascended into heaven/uploaded Himself to the cloud, the Holy Spirit downloaded His nature into us—His chosen flash drives. Of course, our flash drives are corrupted, and we can never hold all the data He does, but we are called to be as accurate as we can. This requires frequent syncing with the cloud through Scripture and prayer.

The flash metaphor, of course, is horrible, as all metaphors of the Trinity are. Jesus didn't really come to earth in a little plastic and metal stick—He came in the flesh. And—thankfully!—the Holy Spirit doesn't need a data plan or WiFi to connect with us.

I think the next 'flash' we're going to see is God striking me with lightning for this one.

This is what WOULD happen if GotQuestions.org genuinely, honestly answered all the mis-typed, autocorrected, or otherwise altered "spiritual" questions that come their way every day.
