Do bad people go to Holland?

Not that I know of, but I've only been to Holland once for less than a day. We went to the Valkenburg Christmas Market in the dungeons in a cave. They had these amazing waffles covered in whatever sugary topping you wanted. But they weren't Dutch Stroopwafels. They were Belgian. I got diabetes just looking at them.

I don't think that means we were bad, though.

Most of what I know about people who moved to Holland I learned from the Facebook page Humans of Amsterdam. There is the Ukrainian guy who went on holiday and stayed when the war started. He worked and slept outside until he earned enough money to bring his brother over. There's also a guy from St Petersburg who was on holiday in Georgia when the war broke out and went to Amsterdam when Georgia filled up with Russians fleeing the draft. He had been protesting Putin since the Crimean invasion.

There's a family from Turkey who has been collecting supplies for the earthquake victims. And the man who moved to Amsterdam with his wife from Florida. She started getting dementia due to epilepsy and kept losing her bike. He covered it with bright silk flowers so she'd be able to find it more easily.

Undoubtedly, some bad people go to Holland. Amsterdam isn't known to be the pinnacle of morality. It's not like there's an ethics committee at the border. But bad people go other places, too. Like Boise, and Buenos Aires, and Ankara. In fact, if you think about it, we're all bad. That's why Jesus died on the cross—to take the punishment for our bad and cover us with His good. That way, even if we're bad, we won't go to hell.
